Student Government Board under scrutiny

Ramesh C. Reddy
Editor in Chief

Editors Note: This information originally appeared in the Student Government Board election issue of the Pittsburgh Standard in an online and print edition during April 2002 while I served as the managing editor. It is presented here in revised form for you as a student body to evaluate your president and board members to see whether they are keeping their platform promises until their term is over within three months. It is these platforms they ran on to win the board position. Only the winners platforms are presented here.

What you will be reading is word for word speeches of candidates’ about their platform during ‘Meet the Candidates’. I have done my best to transcribe the information as best as possible from the videotape to print. The time will  also be given to when the candidate’s spoke and for how long they spoke.

Only the Pittsburgh Standard brought you this exclusive!
