“Satan Attacks To Annihilate Now! (S.A.T.A.N)”

SCRIPTURE:
"At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert, and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.” (Mark 1:12-13, NIV)

Observations:
I asked myself in whose COMPANY Jesus was according to v.12?

The Spirit

Satan

Wild Animals

Angels

Observations/Interpretations:
I asked myself what role each played and the significance?

Yesterday, I learned about the role, 'The Spirit' played and its significance. Today, I will be looking at the role Satan plays and its significance.

Point 2: Satan.

Satan did not leave Jesus alone but was intent on tempting Jesus for forty days to try to make Jesus do wrong. This happened right after Jesus was praised publicly with love, words of approval, and compelled by the Spirit to go into the desert.

Implications:
I saw important implications for my own life. When I am praised publicly with love, words of approval, and compelled by the Spirit to follow the Lord's path, I will be subject to temptation by Satan because Satan wants me to do wrong and falter. He will do the same to you.

I ask you now dear friend, will you be ready for Satan overpowering you with temptation?
Dear friend, when you are loved, given words of approval, and compelled by the Spirit to follow the Lord's path, you will not be left alone. Yes, friend you will not be left alone because Satan will be ready to overpower you with his temptations because he wants you to give in. The question is how ready will you be? You have to be ready and the only way to be ready for Satan's temptation is to handle temptation how Jesus handled it which I hope to look at tomorrow.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, we need your help to be ready for Satan who wants to annihilate us and bring us down. Satan wants to keep us from you so please Oh Lord help us. Thank you Lord for the ammunition you give us to fight Satan. We entrust our lives to you and depend on you. Thanks for your help Lord. Guide us and please lead us Oh Lord for the glory and honor of Your Name! In Your Name We Pray! Thank you Lord Jesus! Amen!
