One Number,
A simple sign of which
Our nation will forever fear
Praying for the people no longer here
One Number,
Evokes many emotions
Of which we know
Are to never let go
One Numb-er,
Full of misery and hate, feelings of terror
Are all but too late
One Numb-er,
So close to despair
We cannot love again
We hath so little care
One Numb-er
Closer to coldness
With eternal memory in our hearts
One Numb-er,
Full of deep sorrow
Longing for a brighter tomorrow
One Number remains
Out of all days
To commemorate and pray
For we will all be together someday
