"Totally 'TitanicOnIce' Sends Standing Ovation Offering 'SigmaAlphaEpsilon' Support For First!"

Editors Note: What you will be reading is a poem dedicated to the first place winners of the Carnegie Mellon University's 2010 Greek Sing competition in singles: Sigma Alpha Epsilon! The video is hyperlinked in one of the phrases of the poem!

On a Saturday night of March 20, 2010 around 7:00 p.m., Carnegie Mellon University had it's Greek Sing 2010 competition at Soldiers and Sailors to benefit St. Jude's Hospital.

According to the Greek Life program, "St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Children from all 50 states and from around the world have benefited from the research conducted at St. Jude - research  that is shared freely with the global medical community."

Sigma Alpha Epsilon won the competition in the singles category with their performance of 'Titanic On Ice'

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon boys
Made some Titanic noise
With their prop toys
Taking in the place of first
Showing how the Titanic burst
With their 'Titanic On Ice'
These were some creative guys
But the role of Al Gore was not nice
Killing the Titanic with his lies
Not caring if every passenger dies
Because of his 'Inconvenient Truth'
That he wanted to take root
But the real Truth is Holy Spirit's Fruit
Which is more than love, joy, and peace
Can be experienced even over the seas
And does not cost you any fees
So come on your knees
To the One who holds your life's lease
Jesus Christ is His Name
To save you and me He came
Our deliverance is His aim
Even after the Greek competition game
Yesterday, today, and forever He is the same
His precious blood can deliver us from Eternal death
As His Salvation by grace we get
We will be glad His Truth we met
For He is the Truth, Life, and Way
Wanting to guide us day by day
With His Spirit, church, and Word
As we come on board
Giving Him our life
So He can deliver us from sin's strife!
