Questions to Ponder for 'This Day in Biblical Verses: 1:2'”

Compiled by Ramesh C. Reddy

Editors Note: Every single Bible verse needs to be taken in it's context. Our hope is that by reading the Bible verses pertaining to the day, you will be curious and read the whole chapter of each book of the Bible mentioned here and memorize the verses. We hope you will use the questions to ponder and reflect on God's Word.

Questions to ponder after 1:2 verses:

When you write a letter to someone, how do you start out the letter other than 'Dear ....'? What can we learn from 2 Corinthians 1:2, Ephesians 1:2, and Philippians 1:2 regarding the best way to start out a letter?

What is your prayer life like and what do your prayers consist of? How is it similar or different from what we can learn from 1 Thessalonians 1:2? Why?

What have you been promised that will never ever change? What can never coexist with a promise? How is it similar or different from what we can learn in Titus 1:2? Why?

How do you know what God wants for you? What can we learn from Hebrews 1:2?

When you have faced trials of many kinds, what has your reaction been? How is it similar or different to what is mentioned in James 1:2 for us to learn from?

What have you been chosen for and how has that made you feel? What can we learn about the Trinity: God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit in 1 Peter 1:2?

What can be yours in abundance and how can you attain it? Is your response similar or different to what you can learn in 2 Peter 1:2?

What have you testified and proclaimed in your life daily? How is it similar or different from what we can learn in 1 John 1:2?

More than your good health, what do you think is the most important for your body? Why? What can we learn from 3 John 1:2?

"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 1:2, Ephesians 1:2, Philippians 1:2, NIV)

"We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers." (1 Thessalonians 1:2, NIV)

"Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ".(2 Thessalonians 1:2, NIV)

"In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time" (Titus 1:2, NIV)

"But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe." (Hebrews 1:2, NIV)

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds." (James 1:2, NIV)

"Who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance." (1 Peter 1:2, NIV)

"Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord." (2 Peter 1:2, NIV)

"The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us." (1 John 1:2, NIV)

"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." (3 John 1:2, NIV)

"Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance." (Jude 1:2, NIV)
