It is also very interesting that the whole town gathered at the door of Simon and Andrew’s home. This is evident from the previous verses (Mark 1:29-31) regarding where Jesus was staying. They were ready and expectant for a healing service!

Observations:
I asked myself what Jesus did!

1. Jesus healed many who had various diseases.

2. Jesus drove out many demons.

3. Jesus did not let the demons speak because they knew who He was.

Implications:
I saw important implications for my own life. When others are sick with various diseases, I can take them before the Lord and be expectant for healing. The people were expectant and ready for a healing service and Jesus did not disappoint. Jesus answered!

Not only that. Jesus made Himself available for the people. Jesus had spent time earlier in the synagogue, then went to Peter and Andrew's home for fellowship time, healed Peter's mother-in-law. Now it is evening and Jesus still spends time healing people who were looking for an answer to their problems just like Jesus healed our precious Esther (6+) and Evangeline (4+) these past two weeks. I believe it was not just our prayers but the intercessory prayers of His people that bought healing into their lives. I thank the Lord Jesus for Pastor Josh, Pastor Mike, Pastor Bucknell, Pastor Hugo, Elder Calvin, and Campus Minister Jesse, etc bringing them before the Lord in addition to their families bringing Esther and Evangeline before the Lord.

I ask you now dear friend, where do you need A.N.S.W.E.R.S in life?

Dear friend, when I was with my loving wife Chandra in India 8 years ago today, I did not want to leave India to come back to work here without her. However, as painful as it was, I had to leave with tears in my eyes because my wife had not yet gotten her visa. We would plead with the Lord when He would give us the answer we were looking for so that we could be together in the U.S. My small group Transformers of Oakland International Fellowship and the church itself (all the names to be listed will take forever) brought Chandra before the Lord Jesus in prayer for an answer. We did not give up praying and bringing our situation before the Lord.

I praise the Lord that after 17 months of intercessory prayer, I personally was able to bring my wife to the United States after her visa was granted. Lord had His timing and though those 17 months were hard not being with each other everyday, on the 17th month of our marriage anniversary, she travelled with me to the US. Even those 17 months were filled with blessings as I became very close with my in-laws every opportunity, I was given to go to India to see my wife.

Now, today we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters Esther (6+) and Evangeline (4+). The wait was long for an answer but the Lord had His perfect timing.

What if my wife had conceived while I was with her in India but I had to come back here alone, it would have been so difficult and painful but in the Lord's grace and mercy, He blessed my wife to conceive when she received her visa and I could be with her through her entire pregnancy to birth. Thank you Jesus.  He answered our prayers for a child in His precious timing.

Friend, just as the people brought the sick with various diseases, etc to Jesus to answer them and my small group & church brought Chandra and me before the Lord for our answer, you can be the catalyst to bring someone to Jesus for an answer for them. Yes, you can friend! There will be times when you do not know when the answer you are looking for will come as was in our situation. There are other times when you will be placed in a position to help someone else out as my small group and church did. In either case, expect an answer from the Lord. It does not matter what area of life it is.

When we needed a lot of stuff for our apartment, the Lord Jesus used my brothers and sisters from our previous small group Transformers and church to answer many of those requests. I praise the Lord for their prayers and help that Kristen, Josh, Yvonne, David, Pin Hsi, Pastor Ed, Edwin, Marie, Calvin, Elise, Suzanne, Rodney, Vicki, Pastor Hugo, Elder Bill, Eric, Steve, Rebecca, Matt, Meera, and Cecila were able to give. Also, Jomei, Daniel, Steve, Johannes, Matt, David, and Yvonne were used to answer my desire to move a lot of stuff I could not do on my own. 

May you know the Lord Jesus Christ answers in your life and waits for you to come to Him with all your wants and needs! Amen! May you know the One who loves you so much and wants to be your Answer and the Answer to all humanity!

May you bring souls to Christ after bringing yourself to Christ! Amen!

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for staying in Peter and Andrew’s home after the worship service and healing Peter’s mother-in-law. Then, after sunset you patiently healed so many  who had various diseases when people brought them to you and the town gathered at the door. Just as you healed Peter's mother-in-law, I believe you healed each one individually and personally. I thank you Jesus. This makes me really happy because you are a God who loves and cares for our needs. You can heal us now too and answer us in our distress. I thank you Jesus. You know the answers we are looking for in our lives. There are areas which we need an answer and wait on you for your help. Help us also to bring people to you so they can be healed and see that you are the Answer. I thank you Jesus. Thank you for hearing us and answering us! In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen
