“BLM Beliefs Blast But Slavery Statues Should Stay!”

Ramesh C. Reddy
Publisher

While growing up, I became a born-again Evangelical Christian who loves Jesus so much! So, everytime I went in the bus past Carlow College, I was so excited to see the statue of Jesus with His arms raised high praising God! It still felt like Jesus was calling out to me everytime I saw it with these words, "Come to me and I will give you rest--all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke--for it fits perfectly--and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens." (Matt 11:28, TLB)

How shocking it was to see the hands of the Jesus statue chopped off in 2017 almost 100 years later when the statue was originally erected. The person/person's behind the vandalism were never found. One thing we know for sure is that they were anti-Jesus and anti-Bible. It can be interpreted that they did not want people to be the hands of Jesus making a difference in the world. There could be other interpretations too such as sending a Marxist, communist, fascist, and anti-Christian ideology.

The scary thing in all this is that two years later, we are seeing Jesus statues either vandalized or desecrated outside churches, etc. You could say that even a Jesus statue is a slavery statue because we are all called to be slaves to Christ as He is our loving Master!

When Black people were oppressed in slavery and segregation, do you know what helped majority of them to come through?

It was the love of Jesus and His care for them that gave them strength even through the slavery. It was during this time that 'Spirituals' were written.

According to Wikipedia, "Spirituals (also known as Negro spirituals, Spiritual music, or African-American spirituals) is a genre of songs originating in the United States and created by African Americans. Spirituals were orginally an oral tradition that imparted Christian values while also describing the hardships of slavery."

The key phrase in this is 'imparted Christian values while also describing the hardships of slavery.'

Majority of the African-American slaves understood the power of praise when they lifted their hands to Jesus singing spiritual songs.

According to Wikipedia, "the term 'spiritual' is derived from 'spiritual song', from the King James Bible's translation of Ephesians 5:19, which says, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."

African-Americans loved the Lord Jesus even in their slavery. It was Jesus that brought them through the years of slavery just as Jesus brought the Israelites through their years of slavery. For their deliverance, the Lord Jesus sent His servants to free them whether it was Republican president Abraham Lincoln or Jewish Moses who was accustomed to the Egyptian culture. Even now the Lord Jesus is using a Republican president to accomplish things in the lives of Black people when the other party just gave lip service but no action taking them for granted.

Majority of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960's was started and initiated by pastors and reverends. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) stands out. He loved the Lord Jesus so much that the Bible and his love for the Lord dictated his actions. He knew Black people were being oppressed and even killed. Yet, he was all about peaceful protests while continuing to be a witness for Jesus.

The 'Black Lives Matter' (BLM) movement is hell-bent on removing Jesus Christ from the equation. The founders don't want Black people or anyone who follows them to give their allegiance to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior but to their Marxist, communist, fascist ideology filled with oppression and suppression. They want you to believe that Jesus Christ is the White man's religion. Hogwash!

Simon of Cyrene, a Black person had the awesome honor of carrying Jesus' cross when Jesus was going to Golgotha to die for the sins of the world. Thank you Jesus!

When I see the BLM movement all across the nation, I do not see those that love the Lord Jesus as part of the movement. What I see is Marxists, communists, and fascists who want to take Jesus out of the picture. Their ideology needs to be blasted!

Yesterday, confirmed those suspicions when I found out that Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of BLM said, "We are trained Marxists. We are superversed on, sort of idelogical theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk."

Isn't it interesting that she did not say 'All Black Folk' but 'Many, Many Black Folk'?

That alone tells me that they have a target in mind and it is not to build a movement with my Black brothers and sisters in Christ who love the Lord Jesus so much. They don't want those kind of people but those who are so angry with White people that they are even willing to burn the house down if they don't get results. These are the people BLM wants to target. Let us not kid ourselves.

Hank Newsome, chairman of BLM of Greater New York said, "If this country doesn't give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. I could be speaking figuratively, I could be speaking literally. It's a matter of interpretation." as he gave an interview on Fox News.

There is no interpretation here but based on BLM ideology, that's what he wants to do.

Let us not forget that Cullors, was the protege of Eric Mann, former agitator of the Weather Underground domestic terror organization. She spent years absorbing the Marxist-Leninist ideology that shaped her worldview according to news sources. BTW, Mann was arrested by the FBI and spent 18 months in prison.

We don't hear about Cullors coming out of a church and her desire to please Jesus as her motivation for BLM.

On the contrary, under the leadership of Mann,  she became a trained organizer with the Labor/Community Strategy center that expresses its appreciation not for Jesus or the Bible or even Rev. Martin Luther King Jr but "it's appreciation for the work of the US Communist Party, "especially Black communists", as well as its support for the "great work of the Black Panther Party", according to news sources.

In their ideology, not once did I read about the reasons for BLM is police brutality or killings of Black people by police. The BLM did not even start because of police killings. It was founded when George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin.

Make no  mistake,  their ideology is filled with Marxist, communist, and fascist ideas which are the opposite of what Jesus stood for and His followers stood for. They hate Trump because he is all about freedom and religious protection.

Trump understands, "For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Corinthians 3:17, NLT)

Make no mistake that their main purpose and goal is to get Trump out of office, not to protect Black Lives. Black Lives Matter is a loaded 3-letter word to demonize White people or anybody who does not agree with their movement including businesses.

I never thought, I would be living in an era where opposition to Marxism, communism, fascism, etc could get you fired from your job, lose sponsors on TV, and have people demonize you as rascist because you oppose BLM.

BLM should be opposed, opposed, opposed because it is not about protecting Black Lives but perpetuating an ideology and oppressing/suppressing those who do not agree with it. Because people are so scared of seeming racist, the Marxists, communists, and fascists have taken advantage of that.

They are indoctrinating you just as Marxist, communist, and fascist countries have done, persecuting their dissenters. This is happening right now in this cancel culture. People are scared and giving in. Because of your hatred for Trump, don't lose your freedom and stay silent.

Will you be brave enough to stand with me to oppose BLM movement as we have it now?

When you oppose BLM movement, you will be supporting MLK and Jesus whom He loved dearly!

Don't let anyone indoctrinate you or shame you with ideologies that Jesus opposed!

Our soldiers have died to protect people from being indoctrinated and persecuted by Marxist, communist, and fascist regimes.

Karl Marx, who was the founder of Marxism said, "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people."

BLM movement has its roots in Marxism.  When you stop supporting BLM movement you will be uplifiting Black Lives. Black lives looked to Jesus in their years of slavery and that is whom Black lives can look to even now during police brutality and killings.

As followers of Christ, we need to protect our Black brothers and sisters from police brutality and killings. We need to protest for their sake but not by joining the BLM movement.

When you join BLM movement, people who know the history of BLM movement will not see you as a loving protestor against police brutality and killings but what they will see is a Christian who is aligning himself/herself against Christ and giving support to Marxism, communism, and fascism. Religious people around the world are still suffering the effects of Marxism, communism, and fascism.

Would you want to be known as someone who is giving credibility to this movement?

Would you want to be known as a business sponsoring this movement?

When Starbucks is allowing and buying BLM attire and buttons for its employees to wear, they are not saying we support black lives matter in the hands of the police even though that's what they think they are saying. The reason we support a cause can totally be wrong and when we find that out, we need to be brave enough to leave.

What they are unknowingly saying is they support a Marxist, communist, and fascist manifesto ideology. To oppose BLM, we are threading on Mccarthyism because opposers are being demonized, ostracized, and prevented from making a living.

Is this what we want America to look like?

There are countries out there that want our president to lose so they can get a president who is sympathetic to their cause. Our soldiers, pastors, missionaries, etc have died to bring freedom of religion to people. They have died that people may freely love Jesus without persecution. This is the same Jesus that has given comfort and strength to the slaves. This is the same Jesus that Abraham Lincoln followed when slaves were emancipated, this is the same Jesus that MLK followed during the Civil Rights movement. BLM is no civil rights movement but an anarchist movement hell bent on making sure the ideals of Marxism, communism, and fascism are followed. That is why BLM ideology needs to be blasted.

Which side will you be on when the dust settles?

Don't you find it saddening when a church burned down in D.C, not one politician of a particular party condemned it but they were so fast to condemn Trump taking a photo there?

Don't you find it saddening when Jesus statues have been vandalized and even asked for removal, not one politician of a particular party has condemned it?

The sad thing in all this is they may think what the BLM movement and its protestors are doing is wrong and against the law but they are so scared of losing their vote that they want to remain silent. Stand with me and Blacks for Christ to protect Blacks, Jesus' way.

Believe it or not, the founders of BLM and the radicals are laughing to themselves saying, "We got the White people in the palm of our hands. They oppressed us and now we are oppresing them. We are making them scared to oppose us. All we need to do is guilt shame them with White privilege"

Those who march with them are falling for it. Don't march with them!

March with me for Black lives! March with the party that really cares for Black lives with their actions as our president has shown us. Let us form the JOBS movement. JOBS movement stands for Jesus Offering Blacks Sanctuary!

We will march against police brutality against Blacks and any oppression Blacks are going through. But what our march will symbolize is the love of Christ towards our enemies too. We will protest injustice as the prophets of old and Christian civil rights icons who put Scripture to action.

If you love Jesus with all your heart, leave the BLM movement and come join JOBS. When you join JOBS just remember we are fighting for the oppressed and suppressed in Jesus' Name. This also means don't expect the media to follow JOBS everywhere!

Why not?

Because there will not be ambushing of police; there will not be vandalism of police cars; there will not be riots and lootings in the streets, and there will not be destruction of Jesus statues or other statues. What we will do is non-violent protesting sharing the love of Christ!

One party will not like it because they have used you all of their lives and taken you for granted. They know they have you in their pocket as their slaves. That's what you have become to them. Whoever tries to rescue you from their grasp will be shunned.

When Black Senator Tim Scott, put forth a police reform bill to protect Blacks, it was shunned and blocked by a particular party. If they really cared for Black lives, they would have passed that bill. They want to use you as hostage for the November election throwing police brutality in your face when they could have voted to debate Scott's police reform bill.

No, what they want is Blacks in the palm of their hands. Otherwise, why would the presidential nominee of that party say to a Black radio host, "If you vote for Trump, you ain't Black'". He might as well said, "We own you boy, if you know what is good for you, you will remain quiet and give us your vote!" That is how Biden's remarks sounded to me an Independent Evangelical Indian.

BLM movement wants to create such division and chaos especially in battlegrounds states and challenges anyone that oppose their Marxist, communist, fascist views. You do not have to be of a particular party to oppose them. We can oppose them in the Name of Jesus! They want to ensure the party that is sympathetic to their cause will win. You and I have the opportunity to stop them as they are. Let us push forth JOBS and let me know if you want to march with me for my Black brothers and sisters in Christ. We will march for any Black who is oppressed whether they believe in Jesus or not.

Let us ensure all religious statues are protected. Let us also ensure all statues are protected whether we agree with them or not.

Why?

Because if we don't want Marxism, communism, or fascism to rule the United States and us, that's what we will do!

One Black person might see a Confederate statue and remember all the pain that their ancestors went through. This pain reminds them of White Supremacy and the evil of it so they want it removed. But using pain as an excuse to remove something is a slippery slope. Instead of following Jesus' way, the people follow hedonistic principles. That is wrong! With that thought process, euthanasia, abortion because of rape, suicide, etc are given endorsement when people argue, it is too much pain to deal with. Two wrongs, don't make a right not to mention breaking laws of vandalism and desecration.

Another Black person could look at the same Confederate statue and remember it is because of people like that who caused suffering, this brought their ancestors to Christ and how Christ has been in their family generation since. They will look at the statue and be reminded of the words of Jesus, "But, I say: Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way you will be acting as true sons of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too. If you love only those who love you, what good is that? Even scoundrels do that much. If you are friendly only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even the heathen do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:44-48, TLB)

MLK said, "Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that! Love is the only thing that can turn an enemy into a friend. Love even for enemies is the key to the solution of the problems of our world. There is something about love that builds up and is creative. There is something about hate that tears down and is destructive. So love your enemies.  There is another reason you should love your enemies, and that is because hate distorts the personality of the hater. We usually think of what hate does for the individual hated or individuals hated or the groups hated. But it is even more tragic, it is even more ruinous and injurious to the individual who hates. For the person who hates, the true becomes false and the false becomes true. That's what hate does.  Somewhere somebody must have some sense. Men must see that force begets force, hate begets hate, toughness begets toughness. And it is all a descending spiral, ultimately ending in destruction for all and everybody. Somebody must have sense enough and morality enough to cut off the chain of hate and the chain of evil in the universe. And you do that by love!"

If MLK were alive, he would probably have been on the forefront to fix those statues. When I look at a confederate statue, it is a history lesson then and there to teach my children who you should not be like or become. This history lesson is lost when we start removing things that cause pain. If people argue that it perpetuates White Supremacy, let the Lord deal with those who purport White Supremacy. Our job is to love. JOBS will follow the ways of Jesus to accomplish goals being a Pro-Biblical movement. BLM is an anti-Biblical movement that needs to be blasted with our words of rebuke and condemnation.

If we start removing one statue, where will it end?

No one is perfect other than Jesus! Jesus alone is perfect! If we start removing one statue then all the statues of the world need to come down because all are sinners. Yet, they don't come down and should not come down. Statues teach us lessons and help us teach our children lessons.

Today it is Confederate statues, Confederate logos, Confederate flags, etc but what will it be tomorrow?

Tomorrow, it could be crosses. People could say, 'Crosses have to be removed because they are so painful and purport White Supremacy since the Ku Klux Klan used crosses and burned them on Black people's houses and lands'.

The ideological movement will go for that in their ideology of marxism, communism, and fascism. I kid you not! They are deceiving you and laughing their hearts out as they indoctrinate and brainwash you. All they need to do is play the race card, identity politics, reminding you of your White Privilege to come join them. They will play with your minds and if it is not grounded in Christ and the Word of God, you will give in. Please don't.  If we give into BLM movement, there will not be an end to it. We have to be the ones to stop them.

When you see the words BLM or Black Lives Matter, don't think it is caring for the oppressed Blacks at the hands of police but they are shaming the White folks to join their illicit cause. Don't do it! Instead, if you love the Lord Jesus and care for Blacks, join JOBS.

My Black, White, Brown, Yellow brothers and sisters in Christ, choose you this day whom you will serve!

Will you serve the BLM movement with its Marxist, communist, fascist ideas or will you be brave enough to serve Jesus Christ through JOBS?

"Will you vote for the party that has enslaved you through the years and pandered for your vote each year without any results or will you be brave enough to choose a party that has made a difference in 3 years compared to 47 years?"

The soul of the nation is at stake and the path we take will determine that. We do not want America to become the land of Marxism, communism, and fascism. Silence is the same as endorsing at times. The party that has been in power who have pandered for the Black vote only has made their suffering more in the 20 cities they serve and through the years.

"Why not look for a change that matters?"

BLM movement won't stop with Confederate statues coming down, presidents coming down, Jesus statues coming down, crosses coming down but they will pursue all means to bring down anyone who opposes them. Yet, we have to oppose! It is Marxism, communism, and fascism that have crushed dissent. They are trying to do it here and people are falling for it left and right because they are scared. Whites are scared of being called racists and businesses are scared of being labeled anti-Black and against black lives matter. They have everyone in the palm of their hands. Escape, Escape, Escape! Don't remain silent!

Otherwise, we will make anti-Communist German Pastor Friedrich Gustav Emil Niemoller's warning come true when he said, "They came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."

Never forget that the Lord Jesus can use anyone for His purposes just as he used a donkey to speak to Balam, the sinner and how he used Rahab, the prostitute to accomplish His purposes. We have to be ready and willing to be used of the Lord. Pastor Neimoller regreted for not doing his part as a pastor.

"Where will we stand as pastors, priests, reverends, bishops, lay people, etc?"

"Where will we stand as the American people?"

If the Lord used sinners like Balam and Rahab, I know the Lord can use sinners like Trump to accomplish His purposes when they are willing to serve His purposes. They need not be perfect, for the Lord uses imperfect beings. I strongly believe Trump has done a lot to benefit the Black community by his actions while the BLM and the other party have just been words without actions.

As we pray for the soul of the nation, pray for leadership that is about law and order, pray for leadership that has acted upon what they promised in their platform to help Black people, etc. Pray that the Lord will choose the one he wants to be in power for His purposes. Pray the Lord Jesus will direct you through His Word, how He wants you to vote. Let the Word guide you and not any BLM movement or party. However, we need to love each movement with the love of Christ whether we agree with it or not. Let us not forget that we are all slaves to Christ and He is our loving Master!

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Corinthians 3:17, NLT)

In closing, "But if you are unwilling to obey the Lord, then decide today whom you will obey. Will it be the gods of your ancestors beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites here in this land? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord." And the people replied, "We would never forsake the Lord and worship other gods! For the Lord our God is the one who rescued our fathers from their slavery in the land of Egypt. He is the God who did mighty miracles before the eyes of Israel, as we traveled through the wilderness, and preserved us from our enemies when we passed through their land. It was the Lord who drove out the Amorites and the other nations living here in the land. Yes, we choose the Lord, for He alone is our God." (Joshua 15:17-18, TLB)

Reddy's right rhetoric takes you into the world of slavery, statues, and the dangers of the BLM movement asking you to take a stand for JOBS through Christ!
