Remembering Each, Apply Cheerful Thanksgiving! (R.E.A.C.T)”

Ramesh C. Reddy
Publisher

SCRIPTURE:
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:3-6, NIV)

Approach Question:
"What do you do when you remember others in your life?"

Observations:
I asked myself what does Paul let the Philippians know?
1.
I thank my God every time I remember you.
2.
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.

Interpretations:
I asked myself the significance of how Paul started out the body of his letter?
Paul is letting the Philippians know of his unchanging personal relationship with God when he opens the body of the letter with
'My God'. Not only does Paul have a personal relationship with God but has an attitude of thanksgiving as he remembers the Philippians every time as he thanks God for them.

Implications:
I saw important implications for my own life here. I need to live my life in such a way that when others are reminded of me, their heart turns towards thanksgiving to God because of my actions even if they are suffering. Though Paul was suffering in jail, the Philippians gave him joy when he was reminded of them because of their actions.

I ask you now dear friend, how will others react towards God when they remember you?
Dear friend, when Paul remembered the Philippians, his heart reacted by giving thanks to God because of them. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ every time I am reminded of my dear loving wife's heart of love for me, her understanding, her support, her prayers, and especially her love for the Lord Jesus Christ that I can see in her life being rubbed on me. There are times that I am just speechless and overwhelmed with thanksgiving. I had prayed for a wife who loves Jesus more than me and Jesus gave me Chandra. Though we are far away right now because of visa situation, I can see her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ lived out whoever she interacts with even in this distance apart. It makes me think I want that kind of love towards the Lord. It is awesome to be able to remember people in our lives to be able to thank the Lord for them because of the impact they have made.

For me three people that I am most thankful for in my life are Chandra, my loving wife, my mommy, and my daddy [who is with the Lord now]. I could go on and on for those I am thankful to the Lord and most of them know that I am thankful to the Lord for them :) When others are reminded of me, I want them to thank the Lord because of my actions for then I will know I am living my life for the Lord and His glory.

I don't want to live my life for myself but for the One who gave His life for me. Help me Jesus. My heart turns towards thanksgiving to Father God when I am reminded of what Jesus Christ did for me. Every time I remember what Jesus did for me and continues to do for me, I cannot be silent. He has made such an impact in my life and continues to do so. I am not where I need to be in my walk with the Lord but He never abandons me but always is close to me bringing me back in His love. As we think about who we are thankful to the Lord, when we are reminded of them, we cannot forget the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.

Jesus Christ is someone we all can be thankful for no matter who we are or where we have been. He loves you and me so much and as we reflect on our lives, we can be thankful for so much that Jesus has done for us and continues to do so. He is the Only One that could redeem me from the virus that plagued my life. In His love for me, Jesus provided the antidote that was the most pure, reddest antidote  given for me. The transaction was made at the Cross when my life was debited in sin. Jesus became my credit taking away the debit of my sin by His precious cleansing Blood shed on the cross for me. In 3 days, the transaction was cleared as Jesus came back to life to save. Now because of my belief in Jesus, His righteousness is credited to me. I am so thankful for the cross, the wonderful cross where condemned, broken, and accused can come and find hope, help, and healing. This same Jesus who works in my life in my weaknesses is the same Jesus that can work in your life. Come as you are to the throne of grace and find help in time of need. For we are all needy. Even when we thank the Lord for others, it is because of the Lord's work in their lives. Praise the Lord!  May we never forget to thank the Lord daily for His loving grace in our lives! Thank you Lord!

"How will others R.E.A.C.T towards God when they remember you? "Remembering Each Apply Cheerful Thanksgiving!"(R.E.A.C.T)

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, it is amazing to see the work you have done in Paul's life. Oh Lord, even when Paul was in jail, he is filled with joy and remembers to thank you for those you placed in his life who have been such a blessing  even though he is in jail shackled in chains. Thanks so much Lord for that work you have done in Paul. Thank you for those you placed in Paul's life that his heart turns towards thanksgiving to you, when he remembers them. Thank you for those you have placed in our own lives that we can be so thankful to you for them because all goodness comes from you Oh Lord. We pray that we can live our lives in such a way that when others are reminded of us, their reaction would be a reaction of thanksgiving as Paul did. I want to live my life to bring you honor and glory. Please help me Jesus. Jesus, this is only possible because of what you have done in my life saving me from the sin that captivates and giving me new life. Thank you so much Jesus for dying on the cross for me and coming back to life to save as you shed your precious blood for me and came back to life to save. You are God eternal and help me always to live a life where I am thankful to you for I always wants to thank you for you tell us to give thanks in all circumstances for this is your will in Christ Jesus. Thank you for wanting to be my Lord and personal Savior who is working in my life and will continue to. Thank you so much Jesus. In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen!

May the Lord Jesus guide you in His love leading you! Amen!

No matter what you feel in your heart, know that Jesus has come in and resides with you! You are not alone! To make your walk strong with the Lord, spend time in prayer talking to Him as you would to a friend. You don’t need special words to talk to the Lord. Spend time in His Word reading Psalms and turning them into prayer. Next allow God to heal you and speak to you through the Gospel of John or Gospel of Mark before moving on to other Books of the Bible! Slowly, let the Lord show you to which Scriptures He wants you to go to next. It is also important to be part of a body of believers to help you grow in the faith. Find a Bible believing church that preaches the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation proclaiming Jesus Christ our crucified and risen Lord who brings us hope, healing, and help by His grace alone!
