“Resisting Romney's Religion Reelects Obama Ominously!”

Ramesh C. Reddy
Publisher

As an Evangelical Christian, I resisted Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s nomination because of him being a Mormon but the alternative choice of reelecting President Obama is so ominous!

I have usually made ‘Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Personal Savior’, as a primary criteria in choosing who to vote for but this is the first time that criteria will not influence my decision to support and endorse Romney to be the next president of the United States.

The reasoning is because though Romney has not accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior, his moral values are in line with the Bible as opposed to Obama’s ominous, outrageous, outgoings.

Romney has opposed gay marriage while Obama has given his support for the legalization of gay marriage and the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). It must be noted that when Obama ran in 2008, he opposed gay marriage and supported DOMA due to religious reasons.

Obama’s initial reason for being against gay marriage was because of his religious beliefs in what the Bible says regarding marriage:

"But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." (Mark 10:6-9, NLT)

Obama had stated in an interview “that he and his religion personally define marriage as between a man and a woman”

Now, before the November 2012 presidential election, Obama comes out in favor of gay marriage. He even told the Department of Justice (DOJ) not to oppose challenges to the DOMA act signed into law by then President Bill Clinton.

Obama claims to be a Christian but his view regarding marriage is totally opposed to biblical values. Romney claims to be a Mormon but his view regarding marriage is totally in support of biblical values.

It is unconceivable how Obama who claims to be a Christian can so outright go against Scripture willfully and deliberately without any repentance regarding homosexuality.

“They traded the truth about God for a lie...Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.” (Romans 1:25a-27, NLT)

This is what our president of the United States is endorsing when he supports same-sex marriage as opposed to his original support of marriage between a man and a woman only.

When it comes to supporting the defense of marriage between man and a woman, Romney is the clear choice.

Romney has opposed abortion, the holocaust of the unborn but Obama supports the holocaust of the unborn.

Why call it a holocaust?

Because just as my precious Jewish brothers and sisters were annihilated because the evil Hitler and the Nazis saw them as unwanted, resulting in the holocaust of thousands of Jewish people, thousands and thousands of unborn have been annihilated and continue to be annihilated because they are unwanted resulting in the holocaust of the unborn.

Obama supports this annihilation in the name of Pro-Choice going against biblical values. Romney opposes this annihilation in the name of Pro-Life supporting biblical values.

“There are six things the Lord hates—  no, seven things he detests:  haughty eyes,  a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent,  a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.” (Proverbs 6:16-19, NLT)

“Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die;  save them as they stagger to their death. Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve. (Proverbs 24:11-12, NLT)

Obama is not intent on saving the unborn who are unjustly sentenced to die and not supportive to save them as they stagger to their death. On the other hand, Romney is.

Obama claims to be a Christian but his view regarding abortion is totally against biblical values. Romney claims to be a Mormon but his view regarding abortion is in support of biblical values.

When it comes to supporting the life of the unborn, Romney is the clear choice.

The election is not just about two issues but these hot button issues are the most moral based issues that makes me support Romney as the clear choice even though I am an Evangelical Christian.

Obama is dangerous because though he claims to be a Christian, his willful deliberate actions do not show us the fruit of his Christian faith. Yes, no Christian is perfect but when we go against the Bible, there is something known as confession and repentance. We don’t see that in Obama. It seems like he is so consumed with power that the world gives him, he has forgotten the Creator of his soul and what he wants him to do.

Jesus said, ‘What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet loses his soul?”

He claims to have tasted Christianity but he has not digested the moral values of the Bible.

“Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.  There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. (Hebrews 10:26-27, NLT)

Since Obama claims to be a Christian, he has knowledge of the truth regarding gay marriage & abortion. Yet, he wants to support laws that go contrary to the law of God.

A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.  “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ (Matthew 7:17-23, NLT)

Franklin Graham, the son of renowned and world famous Evangelist Billy Graham said, On marriage, the president supports “a position against God, and my father feels he has an obligation to speak out against that kind of wickedness.” ”The president has made a choice,” he said. “My father has made a choice: At 94, he has chosen not to be quiet anymore.”

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association took out an ad in the U.S.A Today, Wall Street Journal, and  New York Times from Billy Graham that read, “I realize the election could be my last. I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage.”

If you read that ad, the clear choice is Romney over Obama!

We have Obama who is for the willful breaking of God’s laws when it comes to moral issues of marriage and abortion while we have Romney who wants to uphold these moral issues.

For me morality is the number one reason, I choose to cast my vote for Romney over Obama. When morality is addressed, all other issues will fall in place. When morality is taken lightly and given the back burner then all other issues will falter too.

“When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.” (Proverbs 28:3, NLT)

Regardless of your religion or race, if you put a high value on morality and biblical values, please join me in voting for Romney over Obama.

“Certainly there were many needy widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the heavens were closed for three and a half years, and a severe famine devastated the land. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them. He was sent instead to a foreigner—a widow of Zarephath in the land of Sidon. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, but the only one healed was Naaman, a Syrian.” (Luke 4:25-27, NLT)

You need to ask yourselves why did Jesus say that to the leaders?

I believe, though the widow of Zarephath and Naaman the Syrian were foreigners, both Elijah and Elisha who were Jewish prophets were sent to these foreigners over their own because they accepted them and their values.

In the same way, though Romney is a foreigner to the faith of Jesus Christ and Obama is not, Romney deserves our help in getting elected over Obama’s ominous, outrageous, outgoings because Romney intends to uphold the most cherished biblical values of the sanctity of marriage and sanctity of life.

As a registered independent voter, I am proud to stand with Graham to endorse Romney for president of the United States. Graham has never endorsed a presidential candidate to my knowledge so Graham’s endorsement of Romney shows how ominous Obama has become by going against God and His values regarding the sanctity of marriage and the sanctity of life.

“It was a privilege to pray with Gov. Romney — for his family and our country,” “I will turn 94 the day after the upcoming election, and I believe America is at a crossroads. I hope millions of Americans will join me in praying for our nation and to vote for candidates who will support the biblical definition of marriage, protect the sanctity of life and defend our religious freedoms,” said Graham.

Please stand with Pittsburgh Standard to show your support for Romney this November 06, 2012.

Ramesh C. Reddy believes voting for moral issues will trump all the other issues because with morality will come blessings in other areas.
