Questions to Ponder for 'This Day in Biblical Verses: 1:19”

Compiled by Ramesh C. Reddy

Editors Note: Every single Bible verse needs to be taken in it's context. Our hope is that by reading the Bible verses pertaining to the day, you will be curious and read the whole chapter of each book of the Bible mentioned here and memorize the verses. We hope you will use the questions to ponder and reflect on God's Word.

Questions to ponder after 1:19 verses:

How has someone sacrificially paid for you and why? Keeping your response in mind, how does it compare to 1 Peter 1:19 and Jude 1:19? What will you do with the information you gathered?

What do you do with your conscience and what does faith have to do with our conscience? What is so significant about what we learn in 1 Timothy 1:19?

When it comes to listening, speaking, and anger, what do people say about you and why? Is their response similar or different to what you learn in James 1:19, why or why not?

What is your view of the Bible? Is it that the Bible is the Word of God or is it that the Bible becomes the Word of God or is it that the Bible contains the Word of God? What does your view have to do with what happens according to 2 Peter 1:19?

How do you attain your Salvation? Based on your response, why is it similar or different to what you learn in 1 Corinthians 1:19?

When it comes to keeping your word, what can people say about you and why? What important application, can you learn from 2 Corinthians 1:19?

If you need evidence to believe in God what do you need to know? What significant point do you learn in Colossians 1:19?

What do you pray to Jesus for others and why? How is your response in comparison to how Paul prayed for the Philippians and Ephesians in Philippians 1:19 and Ephesians 1:19?

What do everyone know about God whether they admit to it or not and why? What can you learn from Romans 1:19?

When you believe others have hurt you or shamed you, what do you do? What important principle of biblical living do we learn from Matthew 1:19?

When things have gone bad in your life, what have you done? What should you do? What do we learn from Joel 1:19?

When you study, what do you study for and what can the outcome be? What encouragement can we get from what we learn in Daniel 1:19?

What do you make a priority to do with your family atleast once a week or more and why? What important biblical principle of living do we learn from 1 Samuel 1:19?

When the Lord is with you, what do you need not fear? What can you learn from Jeremiah 1:19?

When you take the Lord's help and obey, what can happen? Is your response similar or different to what you learn in Isaiah 1:19, why or why not? What do you think Isaiah 1:19 is really talking about?

"But He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God." (1 Peter 1:19, TLB)

"Cling tightly to your faith in Christ and always keep your conscience clear, doing what you know is right. For some people have disobeyed their consciences and have deliberately done what they knew was wrong. It isn't surprising that soon they lost their faith in Christ after defying God like that." (1 Timothy 1:19, TLB)

"They stir up arguments; they love the evil things of the world; they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them." (Jude 1:19, TLB)

"Dear brothers, don't ever forget that it is best to listen much, speak little, and not become angry." (James 1:19, TLB)

"So we have seen and proved that what the prophets said came true. You will do well to pay close attention to everything they have written, for, like lights shining into dark corners, their words help us to understand many things that otherwise would be dark and difficult. But when you consider the wonderful truth of the prophets' words, then the light will dawn in your souls and Christ the Morning Star will shine in your hearts." (2 Peter 1:19, TLB)

"For God says, "I will destroy all humans plans of salvation no matter how wise they seem to be, and ignore the best ideas of men, even the most brilliant of them." (1 Corinthians 1:19, TLB)

"Timothy and Silvanus and I have been telling you about Jesus Christ the Son of God. He isn't one to say yes when he means no. He always does exactly what he says." (2 Corinthians 1:19, TLB)

"For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him." (Colossians 1:19, NIV)

"For I know that through your prayers and God's provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance." (Philippians 1:19, NIV)

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people." (Ephesians 1:19, NIV)

"For the truth about God is known to them instinctively; God has put this knowledge in their hearts." (Romans 1:19, TLB)

"Then, Joseph, her fiance being a man of stern principle, decided to break the engagement but to do it quietly, as he didn't want to publicly disgrace her." (Matthew 1:19, TLB)

"To you, LORD, I call, for fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness and flames have burned up all the trees of the field." (Joel 1:19, NIV)

"The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; so they entered the king's service." (Daniel 1:19, NIV)

"The entire family was up early the next morning and went to the Tabernacle to worship the Lord once more." (1 Samuel 1:19, TLB)

"They will try, but they will fail. For I am with you," says the Lord. "I will deliver you." (Jeremiah 1:19, TLB)

"If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!" (Isaiah 1:19, TLB)
