SCRIPTURE:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
 (Psalm 46:1)

When we have trouble, what can we be assured of?

1. God is our refuge.

2. God is our strength.

3. God is an ever-present help.

I do not know what troubles each of you are facing. There are things that can happen in our lives that can make us really down and give flashbacks of the past. We know deep inside to give the Lord praise no matter what is happening in our lives but there is a part of us that suffers to the point that praising does not even come to mind. We should not let that stop us.

No matter what has happened in your life or what you currently face, God has a promise for each of you. God will be an ever-present help in your trouble. Ever-present help means always being there for you in your trouble. Even when you feel the Lord is far away and you cannot sense His presence through your times of trouble, remember that He will neither leave you nor forsake you. Though everyone may abandon you, the Lord will not abandon you. Allow His Spirit to work in your life.

He does not want you to face your troubles on your own whether they involve your relationships, academics, family life, and social life. Let the Lord be involved in every suffering you face. He knows what we face even before we face it.

Lord does not promise to take our troubles away here on earth but what He promises is to be our refuge and strength through these troubles. If we want to have a victorious Christian life, this is important to realize.

When you are having a hard time in anything how trivial it may seem to you, take it to the Lord in prayer. Become a refugee of the Lord for He will take you in and give you the strength you desire. Don't be a lone-ranger in your troubles because when you face something wrong in your life, it is easy for the devil to find that weak point and attack you, if you are not in the Word, praying, or among the support of followers of Christ. Most of all when you are facing pain, try not to be by yourself unless you want to spend that time in prayer. It is easy for you to be attacked when you are alone and do not seek the Lord.

Anytime you are down, just need someone to talk to, or pray with, you can call me at 412-641-9426 and leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can and we can pray together or just give a listening ear. Sometimes when we are down it can be hard to pray alone.

No matter what you are facing never let it slip by without taking it to the Lord. Even if you feel you have messed up and it is your fault, bring it to the Lord. Lord loves you so much and will be your refuge and strength!

"Rest Everyday Faithfully Under God's Emancipation! (R.E.F.U.G.E)"/"Where do you need R.E.F.U.G.E from?"

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, We need your help so much. Thanks Lord we can come to you. Please help us Lord. Thank you so much. We trust in you even when things go wrong. Please help us Oh Lord to take refuge in you. Thank you so much Jesus! In Your Name We Pray Jesus! Amen!

May the Lord Jesus guide you in His love leading you! Amen!

No matter what you feel in your heart, know that Jesus has come in and resides with you when you give Him your heart! You are not alone! To make your walk strong with the Lord, spend time in prayer talking to Him as you would to a friend. You don’t need special words to talk to the Lord. Spend time in His Word reading Psalms and turning them into prayer. Next allow God to heal you and speak to you through the Gospel of John or Gospel of Mark before moving on to other Books of the Bible! Slowly, let the Lord show you to which Scriptures He wants you to go to next. It is also important to be part of a body of believers to help you grow in the faith. Find a Bible believing church that preaches the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation proclaiming Jesus Christ our crucified and risen Lord who brings us hope, healing, and help by His grace alone!

Feel free to email me at reddy4hisglory2004@yahoo.com if you want to meet to study the Bible, pray with, talk about Spiritual issues or whatever is on your mind! My number is 412-641-9426
