SCRIPTURE:
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:3-6, NIV)

Approach Question:
"What do you do when you remember others in your life?"

Observations:
I asked myself what does Paul let the Philippians know?
1.
I thank my God every time I remember you.
2.
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.

Interpretations:
I asked myself the significance of how Paul started out the body of his letter?
Paul is letting the Philippians know of his unchanging personal relationship with God when he opens the body of the letter with
'My God'. Not only does Paul have a personal relationship with God but has an attitude of thanksgiving as he remembers the Philippians every time as he thanks God for them.

Implications:
I asked myself what are the implications for my own life?
I need to live my life in such a way that when others are reminded of me, their heart turns towards thanksgiving to God because of my actions even if they are suffering. Though Paul was suffering in jail, the Philippians gave him joy when he was reminded of them because of their actions.

I ask you now dear friend, how will others react towards God when they remember you?
Dear friend, when Paul remembered the Philippians, his heart reacted by giving thanks to God because of them. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ every time I am reminded of
Chandra, my dear loving wife's heart of love for me, her understanding, her support, her prayers, and especially her love for the Lord Jesus Christ that I can see in her life being rubbed on me.

There are times that I am just speechless and overwhelmed with thanksgiving. I had prayed for a wife who loves Jesus more than me and Jesus gave me Chandra. It is awesome to be able to remember people in our lives to be able to thank the Lord for them because of the impact they have made.

For me currently, I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for my precious wife Chandra, for our daughter Esther, for my beloved daddy (Memoriam to the left side bar) who so wonderfully took care of us and brought us to the U.S,  for my mommy who so wonderfully takes care of Esther, for my three brothers Ravi, Raj, and Rohit who spoil their niece with all kinds of surprises but more than that the amount of time they spend with her. I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Pastor Hugo who has encouraged me to take on different ministry challenges and mentors me weekly, so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Yvonne & Suzanne for how much they have meant to Chandra!  I am  so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Cecilia and how helpful she has been to Chandra! I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Edwin & Marie for the love they have shown our family through the years! I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Heather motivating Chandra to be on the worship team and especially for Kristen who took Chandra on the worship team and is so passionate about introducing worships songs from India through Chandra! I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for Calvin for motivating me to write movie reviews from a spiritual perspective like I used to write and giving me a chance to be on his leadership team when he was small group leader! I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for David and his servant heart as he leads our small group Transformers, and to my entire Bible study team that faithfully has led Bible studies for us: Chloe, Vicki, Cecilia, Johannes, Mike, and Daniel.

Last year, I have been so touched by many brothers and sisters of Oakland International Fellowship in the way they welcomed my wife to the U.S. with a heart-warming welcome party with gifts. She was really touched by Calvin & Elise coming to pick us up from the airport, for Calvin planning the surprise party with Transformers, etc. I am so blessed to have so many people in my life that I can be thankful for.  The names I have listed are not inclusive of every person I have been thankful to the Lord Jesus through the years.

Just as I am thankful to the Lord Jesus for those who have made such an impact in my life, I want to live my life in such a way that others will thank the Lord when they remember me. Then, I will know I am living my life to bring honor and glory to my Lord and Personal Savior Jesus Christ!

What about you friend?

Can others be thankful for you when they remember you?
I hope so!

I have been so blessed by my loving sister-in-laws Vidhya, Sunandha, Pravalika, and brother-in-law Elisha who have been such a blessing in my life including my mother-in-law's gentleness! I have also been so blessed by Sunandha's husband  brother Paul when I was in India. Without the help of brother Paul, it would have been very difficult to get Chandra here! I praise the Lord for them. Thank you Jesus!

More than anyone else, every time I remember what Jesus did for me and continues to do for me, I cannot be silent. He has made such an impact in my life and continues to do so. I am not where I need to be in my walk with the Lord but He never abandons me but always is close to me bringing me back in His love. As we think about who we are thankful to the Lord, when we are reminded of them, we cannot forget the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.

I pray you too are thankful to the Lord when you remember others.

Jesus Christ is someone we all can be thankful for no matter who we are or where we have been. He loves you and me so much and as we reflect on our lives, we can be thankful for so much that Jesus has done for us and continues to do so. He is the Only One that could redeem me from the virus that plagued my life. In His love for me, Jesus provided the antidote that was the most pure, reddest antidote  given for me. The transaction was made at the Cross when my life was in debt to sin. Jesus became my debit taking away the credit of my sin by His precious cleansing Blood shed on the cross for me. In 3 days, the transaction was cleared as Jesus came back to life to save. Now because of my belief in Jesus, His righteousness is credited to me. I am so thankful for the cross, the wonderful cross where condemned, broken, and accused can come and find hope, help, and healing. This same Jesus who works in my life in my weaknesses is the same Jesus that can work in your life. Come as you are to the throne of grace and find help in time of need. For we are all needy. Even when we thank the Lord for others, it is because of the Lord's work in their lives. Praise the Lord!  May we never forget to thank the Lord daily for His loving grace in our lives! Thank you Lord!

"Remembering Each Apply Cheerful Thanksgiving!"(R.E.A.C.T)/"How will others R.E.A.C.T towards God when they remember you?

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, it is amazing to see the work you have done in Paul's life. Oh Lord, even when Paul was in jail, he is filled with joy and remembers to thank you for those you placed in his life who have been such a blessing  even though he is in jail shackled in chains. Thanks so much Lord for that work you have done in Paul. Thank you for those you placed in Paul's life that his heart turns towards thanksgiving to you, when he remembers them. Thank you for those you have placed in our own lives that we can be so thankful to you for them because all goodness comes from you Oh Lord. We pray that we can live our lives in such a way that when others are reminded of us, their reaction would be a reaction of thanksgiving as Paul did. I want to live my life to bring you honor and glory. Please help me Jesus. Jesus, this is only possible because of what you have done in my life saving me from the sin that captivates and giving me new life. Thank you so much Jesus for dying on the cross for me and coming back to life to save as you shed your precious blood for me. You are God eternal and help me always to live a life where I am thankful to you for I always wants to thank you for you tell us to give thanks in all circumstances for this is your will in Christ Jesus. Thank you for wanting to be my Lord and personal Savior who is working in my life and will continue to. Thank you so much Jesus. In Your Name I Pray Jesus! Amen!

"May my spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing even to you, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)

Lord Jesus, You are my all in all. You are my Prince of Peace, Rock, Savior, and Friend. You are my Holy Father guiding me through to live a life of righteousness, holy righteousness. Oh God, I need you more than ever. I need to feel your hands around me holding me tight. I need your love to surround me so that you can glow in my life. Help me please Jesus. I desire in your presence. Thank you for guiding me to live a life of righteousness. Oh God you love me more than ever. You hear my voice when I cry out to you. When I seek your face, you fill me up. You are my all in all. Thank you Jesus so much for your help no matter what I face, your grace is available and you take my case. Thank you for hearing us and answering us. In Your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN! (Most of the prayer is from a vineyard song called “All in All”)

If you would like to invite Jesus Christ into your heart and make Him a daily part of your life, you can this very moment. You will never be alone. You can claim God's promises for you in the Bible and see them come true, before your eyes, in His wonderful timing. You don't have to wait for a special time to come to the Lord. You can come right now as you pray the prayer below, meaning it in your heart.

Prayer:
God I am a sinner. I am invaded by this deadliest virus. Many times I feel so guilty and yucky inside. I need forgiveness. I am so sorry for my sins. I have not obeyed you with my whole heart! I have gone my own way and done my own things. I still struggle with sin. I need you Jesus in my life so I can receive forgiveness and a new beginning. In the process, I can forgive others as you help me to. Thank you so much Jesus. I accept the antidote you have sent me. I believe Jesus you died for me and your cleansing blood will cleanse me from all my sins. You came back to life to save me. Thank you God I am set free, free from the bondage of sin. Hear my cry Oh Lord. I accept you Jesus into my heart. I make you my Lord and Personal Savior of my life. Thank you Father God for giving me Salvation. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and making my heart your home. Thank you for living in me Jesus and I will live for you and serve you the rest of the days of my life. Thank you for being my Lord and personal Savior! I can live a life of peace with you on my side. Thank you that yo
u have heard my prayer and answered me! In your Name I Pray Jesus! AMEN!

No matter what you feel in your heart, know that Jesus has come in and resides with you when you give Him your heart! You are not alone! To make your walk strong with the Lord, spend time in prayer talking to Him as you would to a friend. You don’t need special words to talk to the Lord. Spend time in His Word reading Psalms and turning them into prayer. Next allow God to heal you and speak to you through the Gospel of John or Gospel of Mark before moving on to other Books of the Bible! Slowly, let the Lord show you to which Scriptures He wants you to go to next. It is also important to be part of a body of believers to help you grow in the faith. Find a Bible believing church that preaches the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation proclaiming Jesus Christ our crucified and risen Lord who brings us hope, healing, and help by His grace alone!
