Our actions have the ability to bring glory and honor to the Lord or bring dishonor to him. When we say something, we should be able to back it up with our actions. Our words should not become useless statements without meaning. When I think about words, the phrase, 'I LOVE YOU' comes to mind. If you have a relationship with Jesus and He is your Lord and Personal Savior and you tell Jesus, 'I LOVE YOU JESUS', can Jesus believe that you really love Him by your actions or are they just feel good words to say.....

Jesus is not concerned just with our actions but our thought processes that lead to negative actions. Knowing that Jesus already knows what we think before we think it and bring it to action should make us more aware of how we live our lives. It also helps us to know that Jesus is there to hold us accountable for our actions for our own good.....

Paralysis is not always physical but it could also be spiritual or psychological. We can be feeling so guilty about something that we keep racking our minds on it to the point that we freeze ourselves from forgiving ourselves or accepting other people’s forgiveness. Jesus does not want that to happen and wants to free us from whatever guilt we are facing for He already paid the price to set us free....

When you call someone your friend, I hope you do not let obstacles, inconveniences; hindrances, danger, etc stop you from reaching out to that friend who may need help in anything. I hope I can be that type of friend. I want to share with you the example of 4 friends who made such an impact in my life few years ago. I am proud to call them friends! They are not the only ones that have affected by life in a positive way but this situation became special for me.....

Each of you has a past otherwise you won’t be in the present. You know the skeletons from your past. You know the deep hurts and scars that are hidden deep inside. You know the times of rejection, ridicule, etc you may have faced. Many of you may still be carrying them with you as heavy baggage. It will not go away on its own but you can definitely find healing from your past and be set free once you start dealing with what happened and not hesitate to receive the help needed. Jesus wants you to come to Him and He will not turn you away. He wants to clean out your past for you....

Jesus set an example for us on the importance of prayer. Now God has also given us His Word to be able to listen to Him and do what He wants for our lives. Unless, we spend time in the Word and with God through prayer, we will miss out on a lot of things because we will be going our own way. The Holy Spirit wants to lead us through the Word and through prayer....

There will be times when you do not know when the answer you are looking for will come. There are other times when you will be placed in a position to help someone else out. In either case, expect an answer from the Lord. It does not matter what area of life it is. The people went expecting Jesus to do great things and Jesus did not disappoint.....

There are so many areas in our lives that only the Lord’s healing touch can completely heal especially if those areas are scarred. The Good News is that Jesus wants to be there for you. He wants to take you by the hand and lift you up. You know exactly where you wish for healing. Know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Jesus who healed Peter’s mother-in-law has the power to heal you. Yes, He does!....

What C.A.P.T.I.V.I.T.Y are you facing today? (Sept 15, 07, 9:18 a.m.)
Captivities can come in many shapes and forms. They do not just have to be demon possession but they can be an unforgiving spirit, living in the past, having trouble to move on because of things that have happened, loss of hope and dreams, guilt, etc. If we dwell in them, they will control us but the Good News is that Jesus wants to reach you where you are friend. Yes, He does! Allow Him to come and work in your life. Allow Him to be the Lord of your life....

I learned that Jesus wanted to use Simon and Andrew from what they had already pursued and were pursuing to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. This is awesome because no matter what you are studying or where you are working, I believe that area of academics/trade can be used by the Lord to make an impact in the Kingdom of God. So never give up on what you want to pursue because as you pursue your academic dream and die to yourself and become alive in Christ being willing to follow Him, He can use you where you are at....

Many times in life we may feel rushed to do this and that: 'find a boy or girl friend quickly, get married, get a job, finish the degree, etc. Things need to get done but there is a timing for everything. Jesus set an example for us. Jesus did not rush in to preach the Good News but waited for the appropriate timing.....

All temptation starts with a thought process put in our mind my Satan. When that thought process is rehearsed over and over with false and deceptive rationalizations, they are acted upon and become actions. Once an action is done then Satan will not use those same reasons above but now becomes your accuser and puts thoughts such as these in your mind....

You can praise Jesus privately or publicly in a worship setting, etc. When Jesus came to relate to humanity, He did it because of His love for you. Yes, friend He loves you so much and you are never out of His love and never out of His reach. He loves you as you are and reaches out to you.....

Jesus set a wonderful example for us not only regarding baptism but about commitment. Jesus did not let obstacles come in the way. We too should take a stand for doing right and not let obstacles come in our way.....

There are so many people who make predictions but predictions do not always come true. Prophesy in the Bible has always come true and will continue to come true. If you take prophesy seriously, let God’s Word speak to you not only through the New Testament but also through the Old Testament realizing the New Testament makes so much more sense and becomes exciting to read when we realize most of the events that took place in the New Testament were prophesized in the Old Testament....

There will be those who put us down when we fail. Most of the time it is those that do not want us to succeed and sometimes it is those close to us whose approval we seek after because they are very disappointed. In those moments it can be hard. Though others may put us down, Christ never will. Jesus loves you just the way you are. Don’t let any type of failure keep you down! We become failures only when we stop trying. Giving up on a task is the worst type of failure...

Whether we acknowledge it or not, the most deadliest virus has invaded our body. This virus makes it impossible for us to forgive ourselves or others. I am talking about sinister sin. There is only one antidote in the whole universe that can cure this deadliest virus......

How many of us talk more than we listen? Many of us do that with each other and also with God. We talk to the Lord and then wonder, why God has not answered our prayer. God desires to help us and answer us. The problem lies within us though. It is not that God has not answered us but we have not listened to the answer God gives us.......

How many of you have come face to face with DEATH? I do not know about you, but there are so many out there who are devastated because of the loss of a loved one as the recent tragedy in Minnesota when the bridge collapsed reminds us. In all this grief, people cannot seem to make sense out of anything. I want you to know that Jesus Christ, knows the pain people are going too. He reaches out with His Helping Hands...

How many of us cling to the past and let it rule us? I know many of us do that and don't give God an opportunity to work in our lives. But God wants to work in our lives and give us a future. God desires that we give Him the opportunity to do that.....

For me love of the Heavenly Father is something implied in this letter even if ‘love’ is not directly mentioned. Friend, God loves you. God loves you! Yes, He does! I believe our God has His timing and His timing brings the best intervention even when we cannot understand it. His grace is for you too friend! You can receive it and become a child of God. He will take care of you and get you through. You can experience His grace in Christ Jesus for your spirit. For the Lord heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. May you turn to your Heavenly Father who loves you so much that He has given you His Word full of promises! Amen!.....

Whatever your needs are our Lord knows. He knows your needs and will reach you where you are in His timing! He will carry you! Yes, He will friend! No matter how your situation looks like, take it to the Lord in prayer. I learned as we seek the Lord and His Kingdom first, He will add all the other things to us. He has done that for me in ministry and outside of ministry. The Lord knows what you need in your life and will intervene as you seek Him and make yourself available to others. The Christian life is a life of servant hood and service. We desire to help others because Christ first helped us.....

It is not one person who aided Paul but a community of believers so that he could be helped and supported. It is their support that helped Paul continue in the ministry and keep going. They did that because they trusted Paul and were excited what he was doing not only in their lives but in the lives of others. You have an opportunity to aid someone individually or collectively joining with others. It could be a campus staff worker, pastor, etc. Pray about it and ask the Lord to show you who to support. Get to know the person/s or ministries you want to support and ask yourself if you are excited about what is happening. If you are not then there are other ministries you can look at that can give you excitement to support if it is something you believe in....

It is awesome to know that we can share in other people’s troubles by making their load light. I am reminded of the passage in Galatians 6:2 that talks about ‘carrying one another’s burdens and so fulfilling the law of Christ.’ Friend, maybe you are faced with trouble right now and need a helping hand and wish there was someone out there who can visibly give you a hand. I want you to know that I want to share in your trouble as much as I can to make your load light as the Lord Jesus uses me! More than anything it is the Lord who wants to bear our burdens and make them light as He promises us in Matthew 11:28-30....

Whatever you are facing , you do not have to face it alone but you can have the Lord’s strength to get you through and you can get through! With the help of the Lord Jesus, you can do what you are called to do! Yes, you can! The Lord Jesus will give you the strength to do what He has asked you to do! You do not have to feel you do not have the strength because it is in His strength, you can scale any wall.....

Maybe where you are at right now is not making you content, maybe you are doing an upward comparison with others and it is not making you content, etc but this I know in our flesh and humanity, we will never be content with what we have for human tendency is to want cold when it is hot and want hot when it is cold. This carries on to other areas of our lives too. But the encouragement I find is in Jesus Christ. As you and I focus on Jesus Christ wherever we are in our lives, we will have contentment......

"Who do you show C.O.N.C.E.R.N for?" (July 11, 07, 7:31 a.m.)When we are concerned about someone, we look for solutions to help them. In that way, they are helped and it relieves our own concern for them as we see them being helped. I do not know who you are concerned about! Whoever it is, you can take it to the Lord in prayer for guidance and help. Each of our concern for other people actually does make an impact in their lives even if we cannot directly show it. Paul rejoiced greatly in the Lord even in prison because he knew people were concerned for him......

"Where do you need F.R.E.E.D.O.M?" (July 04, 07, 10:12 a.m.)We know where the woman needed freedom each day! Whatever you are going through, take it to Jesus and pray. Tell Him openly whatever you need to say. You may have been suffering for years and have not found that peace. But this July Fourth Independence Day, there is hope. As you come to Jesus and fall on your knees, He will help you cope. To your life, let Jesus take over the lease. He will be your rope for He is your Prince of Peace.....

As the Fourth of July approaches and we remember all the soldiers that sacrificed their lives so others can gain freedom, you have the opportunity to be an awesome soldier for the Lord. Of course that is not on your own strength but from the strength your Commander in Chief, Jesus Christ wants to give you. When you have to go through the practice drills of applying God’s Word, you won’t be alone for He will be with you. As a faithful soldier, you can practice daily the Word of God. In that way, you will be building yourself up with the most powerful ammunition you can carry with you.....

Our thinking can affect everything else in our lives. A thought comes, we think about it, then an emotion occurs, and soon it leads to action. The action itself can be good or bad depending on our thinking. It is so awesome to know that we do have direction what we should base our thinking on. It comes from the Word of God exhorting us to truth, nobility, righteousness, purity, love, and whatever is admirable. When our thinking is based on these virtues it will change our own outlook on life....
