WOMER'S WISDOM

Dear Womer,
Is it ok for a girl who has a boy friend to sleep on the same bed with another guy if nothing happens?

Sam

Dear Sam,
Ok here's my wisdom on the subject of a boyfriend finding out his girlfriend slept in the same bed as another guy.

Anyway you look at it the girlfriend put herself in a situation she could have avoided.  Most likely she was not forced to share the same bed with the other guy and of course there were probably other areas where she could have leaned her head for rest.

Any boyfriend who hears his girlfriend slept in the same bed with another guy is going to have images flashing through his head constantly of things becoming hot and heavy between the two.

But in this situation, no intimacy was shared, just opposite sides of the bed. Regardless of the circumstances, physical or not, just sharing the bed is a break of trust by the girlfriend.

Any girl who truly cares for her boyfriend would not consider sharing a bed with anyone besides him.  By sleeping in the same bed with the other guy it shows that her feelings for her boyfriend are not genuine or she would not put herself in that situation taking his feelings into consideration.

If the shoe were on the other foot I am sure the girlfriend would have a huge problem with her boyfriend sharing a bed with another woman. So once again even though nothing happened between the girlfriend and the other guy, the act of sharing the bed is in itself cheating.

Sincerely,
Womer
