Paycheck is worth the money!

Paycheck is a movie about finding yourself when you are being pursued by the enemy and have no clue why. Michael Jennings played by Ben Affleck is stellar in his performance as he tries to piece together what happened to his life for the past three years. He has only 20 items with him to help discover why people are trying to kill him after he loses 500 billion dollars. He is assisted by the beautiful biologist Dr. Rachel Porter, played by Uma Thurman.

This movie will keep you on the edge as each item leads him to situations where he finds use for each of the items left with him. The plot is very well developed and leaves viewers pondering about life.

It is an action packed sci-fi thriller that is fun to watch if you like adventure and mystery. As the climax of the movie approaches, it makes you think about being content with living in the present with your life.

It has biblical themes of redemption, second chances, and trust.

The movie will be more meaningful if you watch it with these questions in mind:

  1. How would you live your life if you lost 3 years of your life?
  2. Would you try to piece together the lost memories or be content with where you are and start life over?
  3. How important is keeping your word to someone when you have no memory?
  4. How much value do you place on trusting someone who knows you but you are not able to remember them?
  5. If you could be rich beyond your wildest dreams but will have to forsake three years of your life with its memories, will you be willing to do that?
