Pittsburghers came in flocks to sign the city�s largest �Best Wishes Card� for Mayor Bob O� Connor from early morning hours to the late afternoon hours on Wed, July 26 in three different locations throughout Pittsburgh to show their support to the Mayor who was recently diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma. O'Connor passed away on September 01, 2006 at 8:55 p.m. EST.

Video: Pedestrian Plummets to Pavement at Fifth & Bigelow
A violent head on collision with a pedestrian on the intersection of Fifth and Bigelow sent the pedestrian 10 feet from the point of impact to the pavement around 6:40 p.m. on the evening of July 18, near the University of Pittsburgh. The unidentified victim had hit the pavement of the road where the PAT bus lane is. The road pavement was stained with the blood of the victim.....

As the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix was underway on Sat, July 15 until 6:30 p.m. at the Schenley Park Golf Course to raise funds for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School, Pennsylvania Governor�s School of International Studies class of 2006 (PGSIS 2006) students at the University of Pittsburgh decided to raise money to support AIDS research and make people aware of the AIDS issue outside the William Pitt Union from 6:00 p.m. � 8:30 p.m. by putting on an AIDS benefit dance.....
