Editors Note: The
Pittsburgh Standard approached students outside Hillman Library on the
night of Tuesday, Sept. 20, 04 between the hours of 8:40 p.m – 11:30 p.m
and asked 40 registered voters their views on this upcoming election, 40
days from now. Pictures are posted for those who did not mind being
photographed.

9: Voting for John Kerry:
“Because the other one
sucks more than the other.”

experience in military and I don’t think Bush cares what happens to our
troops; claims to be strong on National security but is not and feel
under Kerry administration won’t be terrified.”

because I believe he is not influenced by politics like the others;

5: Voting for John Kerry:

and economics of country, every time Republicans in office, people lose

4: Voting for Pres. George Bush:
“Because I believe he

“Bush, he is the man.”

“[Because] Bush is more capable; has experience as our leader and
knows what is going on and needs time to implement the plans he’s

is the best choice; I know exactly where he stands; believe him to be a
moral man whose only goal is to help others gain the same freedom we
